Our Story
Throttle Out Cancer is a local nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals and families in Houghton County who are affected by cancer. Through community events, fundraising, and the generosity of our supporters, we provide financial assistance to help ease some of the everyday burdens that come with a cancer journey.
Throttle Out Cancer was founded by Aimee and Scott Raffaelli with one simple belief: the support raised in our community should make a difference right here at home.
After years of supporting cancer-related causes and organizing local fundraisers, Aimee and Scott saw firsthand how meaningful even a little financial help can be for a family facing cancer. What began with a local snowmobile fundraiser grew into something much bigger.
Today, Throttle Out Cancer brings together friends, families, riders, businesses, and supporters with one shared purpose: helping our neighbors when they need it most.
